Selena Gomez has Revealed the artwork for forthcoming album, and it’s safe to say her Disney days are well and truly behind her! The former Disney Child star has sent temperatures soaring with a snap she shared with her 32.7 million Twitter followers on Tuesday night.
Selena, 23, appears almost naked as she sits crossed leg in the sizzling black and white photo. She has completely stripped for a photo shoot in black and white, possibly for the album cover of Revival, her latest album that’s all set to be released on October 9. Sitting on the ground with her knees drawn up towards her, and her arms crossed over her naked chest, Selena wears a stoic expression on her face.
Though it still unclear whether the image is indeed the cover photo, Billboard cited sources confirming that it is indeed Gomez’s upcoming album’s cover. Gomez has already shed her innocent girl image with her latest single Good For You and with This photo. The songstress also recently opened up about her relationship with popstar Justin Bieber, admitting she has no regrets about ‘falling in love’.
Speaking about her new music she recently told Ryan Seacrest “I’m not the best singer in the world, but i know how to translate emotion… I’m just finding my strengths now as an artist.”
“I’m becoming a young woman and I’m comfortable with my sensuality. It’s just kind of not try-hard. It’s just perfect. I think, to me, that was exactly what i want people to see for the next chapter for me.” She added that this work is her chance to start afresh and show her journey through the kind of music she wants to make. It’s just beautiful. It’s my chance to just feel like an independent artist and I worked really hard on it.”
“So I guess that’s just the vision. It’s all about my journey. It’s not about anything specific”.
Selena isn’t the first Disney start to change their image. Christina Aguilera shocked the world with her music video for her single ‘Dirty’. Then there was Miley Cyrus who took it to a whole other level and continues too!
